A local-first governed memory CLI and stdio MCP server for AI agents. PI Governance lets MCP-capable clients capture, review, retrieve, inspect, import, and export durable agent memory while keeping the store on the user's machine by default. I designed the Rust workspace, CLI, MCP tool surface, JSONL memory contract, schemas, reviewable patch flow, L1/L2/L3 memory layers, local retrieval, diagnostics, and compatibility path with pi-persistent-intelligence. The project is relevant to agentic analytics and AI product work because it focuses on governed context, auditability, local security boundaries, and tool interoperability through MCP.
